BELİZ GÜÇBİLMEZ'İN HIRVATİSTAN RAPORU

13-19 Ekim 2008 tarihleri arasında Zagrep'e iki saat uzaklıktaki Cakovec'de gerçekleştirilen 11. ASSITEJ Hırvatistan Çocuk ve Gençlik Tiyatrosu Festivali ve Uluslararası ASSITEJ yönetim kurulu toplantısı ve 2. Epifest buluşması'nı içeren buluşmaya yönetim kurulunun önerisiyle katıldım. Ancak programımın yoğunluğu nedeniyle, festivalin ve yanısıra sürdürülen çalışmaların 13-17 Ekim tarihleri arasındaki bölümünü takip edebildim

Bu katılıma ilişkin kişisel raporumu sunuyorum. Festival organizasyonunun ardında Cakovec kültür Merkezi, Theatre Epicentre, Hırvatistan Goethe Enstitütüsü, Kültür Bakanlığı ve Cakovec Belediyesi'nin işbirliği vardı. Benim bu organizasyona katılmamın temel amacı, Orta ve Güney Avrupa bölgesindeki tiyatroların ve tiyatro sanatçılarının işbirliğini, güç birliğini, iletişimini, dolaşımını ve ortaklığını sağlama amacı için oluşturulmuş Epicentre'ın bölgesel işbirliği toplantısını izlemekti. Bundan böyle Epicentre Network olarak yoluna devam edecek olan oluşumun toplantısına Polonya, Slovakya, Macaristan, Hırvatistan, Bosna Hersek, Sırbistan, Kosova, Arnavutluk, Makedonya, Karabağ, Romanya ve Türkiye olmak üzere toplam on iki ülkeden temsilci katıldı. Biraraya gelen isimlerin büyük bir çoğunluğu aynı zamanda ASSITEJ üyesiydi ve genellikle kendi çocuyk ve gençlik tiyatrosu toplulukları vardı. Dört gün boyunca sürdürülen toplantıların temel gayesi, network'ün işlevini tartışmak, bir ilkeler bütününe ulaşmak ve işbirliğini hiç değilse gelecek yıllarda systematize etmek için neler yapılabileceğini görüşmekti. Toplantılar boyunca Network kendi işlevini, bölgedeki tiyatroların ve sanatçıların hareketliliğini canlandırmak, projelerin duyurulması ve ortaklaştırılması için önayak olmak ve gelecekte bölgelerarası işbirliğini geliştirmek olarak saptadı. Yakın dönemde bir çalışma planı ve takvim oluşturulmasına karar verildi. Katılımcı tiyatroların ve kişilerin imzasına açılması için bir niyet mektubu hazırlandı.

Toplantılarda sürdürülen çalışmaların ve tartışmaların sonucunda oluşturulan niyet mektubunu aşağıda sunuyorum. Niyet mektubunda özetle şu noktaların altı çizilmiştir:

a) Theatre Epicentre Network'ünü oluşturmak

b) Bu network'ün sağlıklı çalışabilmesi için bir koordinatör, bir yönetim kurulu ve üyelerden oluşan resmi bir yapı kurmak.

c) Bölgede çocuk ve gençlik tiyatrosu yapan sanatçı ve tiyatroların desteklenmesi, ortak projelerin teşvik edilmesi, bölgedeki fesivallere katılımının desteklenmesi, çocuk ve gençlik tiyatrosu alanında yazarlık ve yönetmenlik seminerleriyle bu alandaki deneyimin paylaşılması ve kalitenin yükseltilmesi gibi sanatsal amaçların yanısıra, bölge ülkelerdeki çocuk ve gençlik tiyatrolarının görünürlüğünü artırmak amacıyla, milli eğitim ve kültür bakanlıkları düzeyinde tanıtıcı ve bilgilendirici grişimlerde bulunmak gibi bürokratik ya da politik denebilecek hedeflerin saptanması

Letter of intention/constitution deedWe, representatives of the theaters and theatre companies for children and young people, the artists and the producers of theater for children and young people, gathered together at the Conference on Regional Cooperation that took place in the framework of The Second Epifest, Festival of Theaters for Young Audiences in Central and Southeastern Europe in Cakovec, Croatia from 13-16 October 2008, express the need for better communication and exchange of the artists in the region of Central and Southeastern Europe. In order to facilitate the process of cooperation in the region, the participants of the Conference decided to constitute a network of theaters and the artists in Central and Southeastern Europe: Theatre Epicentre Network and propose a formal structure in the form of association of theaters and artists (udruga) with a coordinator, board and the assembly of members in order to pursue the following aims:

- to cooperate for the promotion and mobility of artists and theatre professionals, for the circulation of works and intercultural dialogue in theatre for young audiences in Central and Southeastern Europe
- to raise the awareness about theatre for children and young people starting from early age as a form of art and as an education tool, at the level of governmental bodies and institutions, school, media, audience, artists and other professional categories directly or indirectly linked to this field (psychologists, sociologists, other kind of researchers in the field of theatre and education, translators, etc.).
- to promote the network, its activities (projects, newsletter and website) and its importance at the national, regional and international levels
- to stimulate the raise the quality of theatre productions and artistic work (acting, music, set, costumes, plays, direction) in the field of theatre for young audiences.
- to encourage new writing, new repertory inspired by contemporary themes, young playwrights, and research in this field.
- to stimulate the presentation and production of new kinds of theatre making in the region, including theatre for early age (dance theatre, non verbal theatre, object theatre, etc.)
- to stimulate and offer opportunities for further training of professionals working in theatre
- to encourage and to stimulate colleagues of other countries in the region to become members of the network and involve in an active way
- to work at all kinds of cooperation levels so as to deepen and enlarge cultural and artistic exchange in the region.

The above mentioned aims will become fundamental parts of a statute defining the principles and ways of communication and work, types of cooperation, criteria for membership, dissemination process, evaluation of work, to be elaborated till the end of 2008, on the basis of a draft submitted after the signing up of this present constitution deed/letter of intention.Cooperation has long term general aims and short term aims to be implemented through activities/projects, presented in an annual working plan. The decisions are going to be taken together, discussed during work meetings scheduled at least 2 months in advance, according to an agenda filled in and approved by all the board members. The network will be organized as an association of theatres and individual artists with the name of Theatre Epicentre, theatre centre for young audiences in Central and Southeastern Europe, based in Zagreb, Croatia, address Nova ves 69/I for nondeterminate time.We all undersigned representing theatre or education organizations in the region support the realization of all the above mentioned aims, to be further specified in the statute and scheduled by an annual work plan.
